In the spirit of Christmas, I'm not spending too much time on my phone. But if you're hoping to squeeze one last festive book in before the New Year, I wanted to share this one!

This holiday book is mainly what you would expect. It's short and sweet, and basically the book version of a Hallmark movie. The two main characters are twins, both talented bakers following very different career paths. One is the co-host of a baking show in L.A. and the other runs the family bakery in a picturesque little town. When the two decide to swap places for the busy season without telling anyone it seems a little ridiculous, but Maggie Knox pulls it off and it's all in the good holiday fun.

There's humor, a handsome firefighter who returns to the small town to take care of his grandmother, and a handsome doctor who doesn't realize how handsome he is. There are delicious treats, snow-capped mountains, and small-town charm. It's the perfect fireside, cheesy read.
