A classic novel that is even more relevant in today's world!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ MUST READ!
Fahrenheit 451, by Ray Bradbury, immerses you in a not-too-distant futuristic dystopian nightmare! If you read this as a teenager, I seriously suggest a reread. The warning is chillingly relevant in today’s world, which is dictated by screens and utterly desensitizing.

Bradbury’s ability to world-build is subtle but detailed and precise, which is why rereading is such a rewarding experience. You’ll miss things if you aren’t paying attention. Bradbury’s writing is a true art form and you can get lost in each paragraph. Not to mention hitting the nail right on the head, in terms of allegory. The sense of disconnect between the characters, the world, and especially to books, felt painfully accurate. I immediately wanted to chuck my phone out the window and take a notebook outside for some serious reflection.

Bradbury’s talent for shedding light on the future is nothing short of eerie, and possibly terrifying. This book feels like a warning that we all should’ve listened to a little harder, and is definitely a sign to check out some more books by Bradbury.

I was immediately hooked from the first page. The writing takes you deep into the story right from line one.

Bradbury has won several awards for his work as a science fiction writer.

“Why is it," he said, one time, at the subway entrance, "I feel I've known you so many years?"
"Because I like you," she said, "and I don't want anything from you.”
― Ray Bradbury, Fahrenheit 451

Bradbury's writing is so unique and yet so precise. Out of context this might seem like a strange line, but it is a punch to the gut when you're immersed in the story.

This quote really hit home. It's amazing how Bradbury predicted such an accurate reality.
