How do we get back to that? Or at least regain a margin of that? You could join a book club, watch interviews, or just simply talk to your friends and family before moving on to the next thing. The answer for me is simple, keep a book log or even a movie tracker nearby and use it!
Even if you’re not a writer or a reviewer, just committing the titles, authors, and characters to paper can help you feel less like a running faucet with the drain unplugged. This is the perfect opportunity to finally use one of those adorable notebooks you bought at the bookstore but have yet to use (I can’t be the only one with a thousand and one notebooks lying around!). Start with recording the title, author, genre, and how many stars you would rate it as. You can even create your own rating system and get creative with it!
